Food booths have something for every pallet from lamb to oyster barbeque. A favorite attraction is the wine tasting booth featuring more than 25 Sonoma County wines. Description from their site: "This annual event occurs on the weekend closest to the Equinox, when the Spring section especially is ablaze with color. Blooming cherry and crabapple trees, yellow forsythia, kerria (Japanese rose) and miniature daffodils will be dressed in their glowing color. The Teahouse (one of the only two authentic teahouses in the United States), is open for viewing, and Docents are available to assist visitors and answer questions pertaining to the Garden. Description: The Festival is a three-day weekend of storytelling concerts and workshops featuring some of the best traditional storytellers from across the country and around the world. Opening and closing concerts offer a variety of stories and storytelling styles, as each of our featured tellers takes a turn on the main stage. During the afternoons, you can choose to see solo performances on smaller stages, attend workshops on various aspects of storytelling, or browse for books, audio recordings and storytelling paraphanalia in our vendor room. Traditional storytellers that are featured at our festival may also be musicians, authors, film and stage actors, but essentially they are performers are simply exceptional practioners of one of the oldest human art forms: oral storytelling.
